Welcome to my blog. I created it with the hope of promoting my writing and also connecting with those who are fans. I am a young writer and feel like I am still developing quite a bit as an author. I love writing and have a mountain of ideas for books, but unfortunately so far it has not proven to be lucrative financially so I am going to teach while I continue writing (if such a thing is possible). My book the Sureshot is a cross between The Red Badge of Courage and Robin Hood. It is full of adventure, mystery, fantasy and drama. I tried hard to develop interesting characters and feel that they are strong. There are some things that I can improve of course, and am open to any suggestions. I hope that you will read my book and let me know what you thought. Enjoy my postings here as well. I will try to post origional short stories and essays, as well as some of my poetry and anything else I decide to post. Thank you,
I was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Clovis California. I graduated from Buchanan High School in 1998 and served 5 years in the US army as a slavic (Russian and Serbian) linguist. I graduated from Fresno Pacific with a BA in Social Science in May 2006. I finished my teaching credential and am now working as a history teacher. Besides writing I love baseball and soccer. My first book The Sureshot was published in the summer of 2006. I finished the sequal to the Sureshot, but am waiting to get it published. I have a number of other projects that I'm working on including Christmas and Easter plays for my church.
